Snake River Canine is a small family operated dog and puppy training program located in Southern Idaho. We have multiple "training homes" located across the state in the Paul, Meridian, and Pocatello areas. We have experience with all breeds and sizes of dogs but thanks to the amazing breeders we love our main dog breed available through our program is the Miniature Schnauzer. We are able to match our clients with puppies that go through our unique and amazing program. We are not a kennel but rather raise our puppies-in-training in our homes as family to give them optimal social and training experiences. We also offer board & train, tele-training and coaching options for new dog owners around the world.

Growing up on a small family farm in Idaho, our family raised and trained dogs and horses. I had lots of opportunities in my youth to learn about training techniques and methods as well as observe first hand animal behavior and psychology. When I became an adult I repeatedly saw families get new dogs or puppies and struggle with the raising and training process. I wanted to find a way to help these and other families and their pets have a more successful start to their human/canine relationship. Our puppy training program began in 2015 and quickly grew. I was able to involve several of my own family members in the endeavor and we have sent our trained puppies all over the US, Canada, and abroad. We still consider ourselves a small family-run program but we have met and become friends with people and clients all over the world.
